As the INTERGEO trade fair approaches, the companies OBERMEYER Planen + Beraten and Cremer Programmentwicklung present the implementation of CAPLAN as a surveying calculation module in the ProVI program.
ProVI, a leading transport and infrastructure planning program used in the fields of road and rail, is based on Autodesk products and will now be enhanced by the addition of CAPLAN's geodetic computation and network adjustment functionality.
The integration of this CAPLAN functionality into ProVI now allows users to import data from almost all surveying instruments. Total station, leveling and GNSS data can then be processed in order to carry out plan, vertical and spatial network calculations and adjustments. The resulting coordinates are of the highest quality, and these can also be transformed into any desired coordinate reference system using the new module.
An integrated data flow, right through from initial data capture to the completed rail or road route alignment, is thus achieved within the framework of a ProVI project. Amendments to the base data can, on demand, be automatically propagated through to the DTM and the three-dimensional alignment model.
